Exhausts Set-Up

Ok, i forgot to add this to my other thread, might as well make another seperate one anyways. ok. exhausts setups?
What is the best exhaust system available... mufflers.... catalytic converters... and the rest... again, i dont knwo much about exhaust systems, and wat all the different things do, and what to look for in good ones, so any help is highly appreciated. Whats the loudest set-up anyone could think of? Most HP gain setup? and maybe even the best of both of those? how much am i looking to spend on these different setups you guys submit? Im just lookin for a guestimate on how much i should save up, and if its really worth it. I really want to keep this car and have fun with it... but then again, if i save up... being that im only 16, by graduation i could have plenty of money to buy a nice car, or i could just dump it all into this one, and make it like new i would hope. any opinions.... anyone been here before and had past experience with this? ive been thinking about buying my dads 98 bmw 328i off him after grad. only has 55k miles on it. beautiful car, fast, and well built. but i love muscle cars. well thanks everyone.

if you want sound and some extra power, longtubes is the route for you. if you like waking up the neighbors as much as i do then a cut-out with no cats is a great addition to the longtubes. you'll have to do some research for power gains on diff set-ups, its all up to your prefs and where you'll be going with the car, narrow down your questions.

Start by telling us what emissions requirements, if any, you have to meet. Without that info, no one can tell you what is best.

In your evaluation, does "loud" equate to "best"?
....i could have plenty of money to buy a nice car,......
If you don't consider your 94 F-Body a nice car, why spend any money at all on it?
