cold air induction
SSRA is the best aftermarket CAI IMHO. It has a two piece scoop design that draws air from outside the car directly into the airbox. Most CAI kits draw air from the front of the radiator which is cooler air but still air that is under the hood near a hot engine.
Once you hit speeds of 75 and over it does begin to create the "ram air" affect. I noticed a huge pull difference from 100-130 after the SSRA was installed. It's a little more expensive then SLP or FTRA but IMO it's worth the extra few bucks spent. You'll know where that money went when/if you gun it at speeds over 100 mph. This will be more of a factor for you if you like to race at a 1/4 mile track. I've seen some ls1's (with lots of mods) trap 115-130.
Good Luck.
