Question Changing thermostat

Im am planning to change my thermostat. I was wondering what it involves. I kno where it is located. I unbolt the bolts that hold it in. pop out the old thermostat put in the new one. then close it up.

please feel free to add any steps to my plan!!!

put somethign under the car to catch the coolant and remember to heep a hammer and something to hit nearby when trying to undo that extremely annoying spring clamp.

you might want to get real hose clamps if you hate the stockers like i do...
