In my opinion the Flowmaster will sound better. The Magnaflow might show a slight gain of 5 to 10 horsepower. You be the judge on if it's worth the expense to you.

Flowmasters have actually shown losses in HP. The Magnaflow has been independatlly tested to with 1-4 hp of a cut-out. The magnaflow also personally sounds better than the "tin can" sound of the flowmaster and dosen't "pop" all the time. It's your choice, but you can see the obvious answer.

I would like to see a dyno sheet showing a flowmaster losing horsepower over a stock muffler. I don't think you will ever find one. There are other high performance mufflers that will flow better but the gains are not all that great.

I have a SS magnaflow, and I want a flowmaster 80 series, It's true the magnaflow does flow better, but I like the sound of flowmaster better. How does the flowmaster sound at idle?

Maybe we could trade?
