Definetly unless you want broken springs, PtV collision, or other bad scenarios.

Mandatory:
Springs, Pushrods, Timing Chain Set.

Not Mandatory, but pretty important (i.e., doing it "right")
Titanium Retainers, Ported Oil Pump or LS6 Oil Pump.

 

bummer. that $400 cam (+40 hp idea) just turned into anohter 1000 dollar project.

yea, i was ordering headers, and i figured for an extra 380 i can get a cam. i cant lose. but no...its an extra 1000. ill do it eventually, but for that amount, i need to get a new clutch and 12 bolt first.
