Question Anyone tried the Barry Grant RUSH Air Filter?

Hi everyone,

I was at the NHRA Southern Nationals this weekend and saw a Barry Grant RUSH brand air filter at the BG trailer. Has anyone tried this filter? It has the same look as the K&N except for color (It is yellow with white filter media.) I asked the rep what the difference was between the RUSH and the K&N and he said that RUSH trapped more dirt. I wonder if that means less airflow??? Any opinions???

Thanks,
Jason U

considering that the k&n restricts more than paper by trapping more.. and in my personal dyno tests... I would say you are prolly right on the $$ there..

I would suggest sticking with just paper a/c delco filter. Plain and simple.. hehe

I agree - the paper filter is still the way to go. Thanks,

are u guys sure? because when I had my brand new paper filter in it sounded like the filter was restricting it, and when i put in the k&n I got faster throttle response as well as I could hear the air getting sucked in when the hood is open.
