I have a 2001 Camaro SS that is entirely stock except for a SLP Loudmouth Catback. I would like to add a sufficient CAI that can add maximum power and keep the ram air induction with the hood. I'm also looking for some headers and a y-pipe. Not too pricey but good power is what I'm looking for. Any help would be great. Thanks.

 

you'll be happy with an airbox lid (any brand) and an SSRA cold air induction. As far as headers/ypipe, do some research on those.

but your first step is to buy a lid. any lid. as stated.

as for headers, the cheaper brands out now are flowtech and pacesetter. i have the FTs and am very happy.

Smog is something to consider when buying headers, could be as simple as you don't have smog though.

 

You'll definitely want to start with a lid. That's typically the first mod most people buy and definitely one of the first mods our "new to F-body" customers purchase from us.
