Post 98 camaro hypertech problems

i have a 98 camaro, i was unprogramming the hypertech III, and the battery died at 60%, now it wont continue and the car wont start, anyone have any suggestions?

Call Hypertech,but I think you're screwed You may have to have your car towed to a deler and have the PCM re-flashed.I don't have a Hypertech but that seems to be the common answer to your question.I'd call hypertech just to be sure though.Good luck to you though!

how much does it usually cost to have that thing reflashed, because i dont care about the programmer, i just want the car to start and work normally

Question

After you replaced the battery , did you try the programming again ?

Or, did you try pulling the 2 fuses under the hood to reset the PCM ?

Just trying to help you avoid a trip to the dealer !!

too late i already took it to the dealer and they reprogrammed the computer, it was empty, the programmer destroyed all the data on the programmer

Yeah, I was going to tell you to take it to the dealer 'cuz it's screwed.

If the battery voltage drops, it's all over.

Did you get in touch with Hypertech?Is the unit you have screwed now?Just curious.
