Boost cost way to much money . I culd buy a set of heads and Put them on myself and Have almost as much if not as much as a boosted car for a fraction of the price . Not to mention I wouldnt have to rely on an attchment for power .
I always have liked NA power more then anything . Not to say im not a fan of Boost , but , I would rather have a fully N/A car .

 

Uh, I never said go get boosted lol....just stating what they can do with boost so you could compare to other head choices.

So if the same setup usually makes 550rwhp with LS6 heads then the 5.3's would be a steal if they can do 525....etc. (Just an example....)

what compression ratio wil the engine have with those 5.3 heads? Also will they run well with 91 octane and a decent cam? Out here in my parts 91 is the highest we go.

 

Well my buddy is running 6 psi of boost with a Vortech with the 5.3s so Im sure you'll be fine N.A. Just have that cam tuned.
