I might keep my V6 Firebird stock and use the motor build money to purchase a Z28 to go with it in that case. But yes 600 - 800 miles is pretty average in Atlanta as everything is so spread out you have to drive thirty minutes to get to the grocery store.

If I were you look into a 100shot of nitrous. Keep the motor basically stock and run with that. Best of both worlds...

Mine is stalled/gears/cam'd etc but it stays in the garage maybe 4k/year. I wouldn't consider making it a daily driver. I'd buy an old cavalier before doing that for 1k.

if your worried about fuel economy.. you sir are in the wrong hobby.. do a little research on octane rating, and why cars like these acually require high test fuel
