11.2-1 OK with 93 pump gas? P/V clear?

Dart 205's on the way . I am looking to mill them .020, use GM MLS gaskets and install the F14. I have been told that the compression ratio will be close to 11.2-1. Will 93 octane pump gas be OK with this set-up?
One more question, will piston to valve clearence be an issue? Thanks

Would love to know the numbers once you get the set up complete, please post the results. I am thinking about the Darts not sure just yet. Hopefully your numbers will persuade me to buy them!

Re: 11.2-1 OK with 93 pump gas? P/V clear?

It's going to depend on the tuning ... my set up is 10.9 to 1 with a moderate cam ... the difference between a tune on 91 - that's all we get here in CA - or 100 racing gas is about 15 rhwp.

If I run the 100 octane tune on 91, it sounds like someone dropping a bag of marbles on hood.

If you're serious about getting the maximum power for the track; either get LS1 Edit so you can down load your 100 octane tune for the track or get a second PCM with your race tune and swap them out for the track.
