Is it worth that much to you? if so it is a good deal. if you think it is too much make an offer that you feel is fair. the seller can either accept or deny it. thats how a fair price is decided. pretty much the entire foundation for our economy. its your money why would you care if other people think you got a good deal or not. let them make descions with there money and you with yours.

I understood what he was saying- http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/

Type in 25534322 in the part # search. They list a LS1 crate engine for $5900.

Not to me, becaus you can get a forged stock bottom end for like -$3,000 w/ cam and then add another grand for heads. Or even get the new 402 stroker for about $5,000 all said and done with cam and heads. I wouldnt pay that much for a stock motor with the what the aftermarket offers. But i think 4K is a good price if you want to stay stock and dont have all the plates, vacume lines, intake, TB and all you need. Thats like buying a stock GM radiater for what you could buy a Be Cool radiater for.
