a friend of mines dad, bought a 99 SS camaro convertible last year for the same price, it had 95k miles on it. nothing wrong with it. so I kinda think that the price is a little high. but then again I have never shopped around for one.

BWhahahahahahahaha!! Reduced Price

I would say NOPE NOT DEAL

Car is worth $6,000 in perfect condition

There are enough other cars out there and $9,000 will get you an LS1, hell I'll sell ya my 96 for $7500 It's a deal of the century

Definitely too much. I bought mt 97 Z 2.5 years ago with ~10k more miles for 5grand. You'd be ripping yourself off if you paid 9500 for that thing

Asked him to lower the price. I mentioned how in KBB it says $4,945 for a 95 in excellent condition with that many miles. If he doesn't lower it then forget it..Setting a price that high for a car that old is ridculous.

He said he'd fix the A/C, fray in the front seat, and the power mirrors if I paid the asking price. I think im just gonna forget this one.

Forget about that one. If there's that much wrong with it and he still wants almost 10G's then it's a waste of time. If you paid blue book for it, there's no way it would cost you 4+ thousand dollars to fix those issues.

For 9500, you could probably find an LT-1 car with half or less than half of those miles.

that’s the truth... and if you are going to spend that much why not go up a couple more grand and start looking for something like an 01 or 02 in excellent condition

Yeah im actually aiming for an LS1 if I can find one cheap enough. At least under 10k, prefereably less than that cause im taking out a loan. Me and my friend Alex (rustyrodder) went down the street to a chevy dealer near my house, said im lookin for a 98-02 Z28 6 speed black with ttops or vert, he said there would be some coming in soon and hes gonna call me when they do. So that might even be my best bet is to just wait until I get a call, or I can just walk right down the street

Agreed, there is no way I would pay that amount. Move on to the next one.
