This has been an ongoing problem since I bought the vehicle. Sometimes the wipers work, sometimes they don't. I've heard many many different opinions and I have came to the conclusion it's either a wiper relay or the module(circuit board) inside the motor.

Is there a wiper relay? If so, where is it? I called the dealership and asked for a module part number. They gave me this

1236-7299

I looked that number up and it's showing an insulator? Is this correct?

 

Mine dont work right either, I have head its the circuit board, kind a common problem with a lot of GMs, my buddy fixed his on his truck by resodering the connection, that was his problem. You can look on e-bay and try to get one from an 01-02 car.
