AC compressor wiring help
AC compressor wiring help
So my AC doesn't work, and that sucks because it's really hot right now. This past spring I fixed a bunch of wiring in my engine compartment, including the wires going to the AC compressor clutch. I think I might have reversed the wires in the plug, I had it all apart so I could slide heat shrink onto the wires. I was wondering if someone could tell me which color wire is supposed to be where, driver/pass side or something so I could look and see if thats what I did. Also, where is the fuse for the AC clutch, it shows one in my service manual but its not in the fuse block with the rest of them. Thanks for your help.

Re: AC compressor wiring help
Sorry, I thought I had a sig set up here, I post more on a different forum. It's a '95 Trans Am, M6, not too many mods. I'll get a sig set up tonight or when I get a chance, thanks.
Re: AC compressor wiring help
The dark green wire goes to terminal A of the plug and the black wire to B. The factory harness has a diode spliced between these wires, approximately 2.5 centimeters from the harness breakout by injector #2. It is there to prevent electrical spikes when the compressor is turned off.
