Window switch

Sorry for the repost but i just need an answer, before i kill myself.

My pass. side window rolls down but not up via the pass. side switch, but goes up and down flawless via the drivers....must be the switch right? Just reaplaced it with a brand new one and it does the same thing. Cant be the motor if it works flawlessly via the drivers switch, so it must be wiring? It has done this since i bought it and i've taken he door panel off 2 or 3 times so i couldnt really be a pinched wire or anything.....is it possible that it actually the drivers side switch for the pass. window thats faulty? thats what another thread was saying.......

I would inspect the connector to the switch if it has one. On any connector, the pin or socket can get pushed and not make contact. Probably not it though.

This just happened on my car this weekend. Very strange that it can go down just fine but not up on one side and both ways on the driver's side.

welp.. it's a reverse polarity system. so you need to pop the swith off and see what you have. check for power on the brown wire with the key on. should have ground on both the brown and dark blue wires heading to the motor at rest. then when ou press the switch to down dark blue should remain ground and the brown wire should switch to hot.. when you press up. brown wire should remain ground and dark blue should switch to hot.. see if thats right comong out of the switch. if so. take the door panal off and check it at the motor
