the short answer is because you drive an fbody, everyone Ive ever had has rattled. You can take it apart and shove crap in there where it rattles, but they will eventually come back

the lovly gm dash is why it rattle's...I work for and acura dealership we have the same problem with rattle's. we use a foam sticky tape that solves the the rattle problem pretty good. not your next challenge is finding all the rattles in the dash and putting that foam tape all over the place, then after that you can move on the the rest of the car
