What wipers are you using?
What wipers are you using?
Need to change the windshild wipers on my car. The anco blades that are on there now kind of make too much noise and they don't hit certain parts of the windshield. Any recommendations??Thanks
Re: What wipers are you using?
Well Napa works well but won't last more than a season in my experience. Some people don't expect anymore than that out of them though. I think oem is probably the best. Bosch sucks, like everything else they make.
I'd be curious to know of the PIAA wipers are as good as their lights supposedly are.

I think I went with Trico this last time, and I will agree that Bosch sucks. I have paid extra for their blades thinking they would be better. They don't last nearly as long as the other brands(I've tried Bosch twice and will never do so again).
oem replacements
i figured my first set lasted 150k why wouldnt the oem work and never have any probs at all.. well i dont drive in the rain much but when i do no probs even the old ones just started to rip due to lasting as long as they did always a clean swipe
you do clean ur blades right? to get the gunk off just wipe with moist papertowel

Spray a paper towel with some silicone that leaves no greasy residue (I use Prestone) and wipe them if they're uneven. You can tell a wiper that needs replaced from one that just needs cleaned.
Works good with shoes too!

of all the brand that I have installed and run on my car and customer cars I have always liked anco. Keep the winsdheild and the blades clean and always wipe them down before there first use and you will usualy do just fine.
