What to use to loosen a bolt?
Re: What to use to loosen a bolt?
I had a hell of a time getting this bolt off, too.
Use a wire brush to clean up the threads. Hit it up with PB blaster the day before you start working on it. If you have access to a torch, hit it up with some heat. Then get a big breaker bar, and go to work on it!

unless you make a living wrenching on cars, its not worth paying 90 for a breaker bar. you can get away with a 20 dollar bar. hit the bolts up with the penetrating oil a couple of hours before you decide to attempt taking it off.
