What is this problem?

The exterior door panel and my panel behind the front wheels on both sides of the car aren't flush. The panel behind the front wheels sticks out a little bit, what is that from and how can I correct that?

my driver side door is like that...its like in farther than the front panel...i think its from either the power or because of having the door open and that car shaking so much because of the engine.

Check the tab under the car where the fender is attached. It should be vertical. Sometimes the car gets jacked up by that tab and it gets bent. It is clearly marked not to use it for lifting the car, but tire shops do it all the time. If it is not bent too badly, you can straighten it. If it is cracked, maybe someone here can tell you how to fix it.

Hope this helps,

PJ

The one on my passenger side was all "jacked up" just like you describe. I straitened it out with some plyers and replaced the proper bolts and it all looks perfect again.

Never! Never! Never! Allow someone to jack up an F-Body near those tabs! I've lost count on how many of these cars I've seen this happen to. My poor cousin had his fenders bent out almost a half inch on each side on his 2002 Camaro...and this happened at the Chevrolet dealer he bought the car from!! A big rubber mallet was this quick fix on this one

Speaking of jacking cars up...
If you plan on installing ground effects, plan on installing a lift in your garage
