That would be really nice .Im trying to know if the fx1(38 waist) would fit in the car even with a 36inch height and all the other larger numbers....

Thanks

I measured it with the seat in my normal driving position. I'm just barely 5'-10" (seriously shrinking as I get older). I position the seat so I can lock my left leg with my foot on the dead pedal, and easilly depress the throttle to the floor with my right.

The front right corner of the seat cushion is just touching the side of the console. The left front corner of the seat cushion is about 1 to 1-1/2" from the map pocket in the door. Its hard to measure, because the corner of the seat, the map pocket and the lower end of the sidebar all converge at that point. On the top of the seatback, the left "wing" at the shoulders is about 3" from the glass on the door.

I slid the seat all the way back, since a taller person would probably use it in that position. Probably gained 1/2" clearance to the console, and about 1" clearance at the map pocket. I think the people with the Camaros would have a bit more clearance on the map pocket, because I think the Camaro pocket is moved back farther on the door.

It seems to me that a wider seat would be very tight. The console could be trimmed at the bottom, allowing the side panel to be pushed to the right, increasing the clearance.

You can see the clutter at the lower left corner. I had the nitrous panel in the door pocket before the roll bar, and now its a bit of a reach over the bar to access all the switches. I'm thinking of moving them to the "radio deleter" panel.

Well thanks for your time.By checking those numbers the 2 bigger seats have at max 1.5 inch more in the wide area and 2.5 inch in height(fx1 only) so would you think that one of those could be still installed in my car with maybe a small cut in my center console. If i could i would cut myself to fit in the smaller one but i cant

Thanks

Hey just to add to this I just ripped off 12.5 pounds of insulation from the back of my carpet today. Its a free way to save some weight without spending $200 on lightweight carpet.
