Weatherstripping question
Weatherstripping question
I apologize if this is in the wrong section or if this question has already been asked. I'm obviously new here, so lock me on if I'm wrong.
I have a '68 Camaro that needs new weatherstripping. I was looking on the classic industries website for it, and noticed that they have two types of complete kits for coupes, one is a standard kit, and another is labeled as being a wide molding kit. So my question is what is wide molding and how do I know if it is something that my car has? Is this something that can be discerned by looking at the car as it sits, or do parts have to be pulled? If I take a while to respond to a post, my net time is kind of limited, so please bear with me. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply go2fast.
But your answer kinda creates another question. My car has those stainless strips on top of the doors, but I'm about 99% sure it's not a RS. So if someone added those strips, would I want to get the wide kit, or would the weatherstripping be different on other parts of the car as well? Thanks again,
Joe
