thats what i read anyway. always wondered that myself cause it doesnt look like the entire assembly weighs 200lbs. when i find it again ill post up.

i dont have one at the moment, but i think it was in the summit catalogue stating "loose up to 200lbs" few months back, lsx section.

Read post from Magnus , 12secondv6 and Little G on weight reduction.

These guys are getting like 3000 lbs RACE WEIGHTS!!! with like 2800 lbs car weights...

myslowcamaro: If thats what you read, then it was a mis-print or a typo. Seriously. I've done a whole helluva lot of research into weight reduction, and swapping from all stock to tubular front upper and lower control arms AND a tubular k-member will save you 50# tops. And even thats probably a generous estimate. Just tubular upper and lower control arms might get you 20-25#

not arguing that. i agree on the misprint, i just wanted to find it and post so i dont look like a total tool. i did fall for it though. when i saw it i was like "man, im getting them"
