Tripometer!

Hey guys, I have a 94 camaro. About a month after I bought it, i went to reset the tripometer and the numbers popped out of place. I pushed it again, and they went back in line, but won't move. Is there a way to fix it without replacing the whole cluster?

The trip odometer can be worked on separate from the rest of the cluster, but whether you can get any parts you need to fix it might be an issue.

Re: Tripometer!

This happend on an 85 caddy eld I had, the number wheels are mounted on an axle and that axle was held in place with a plastic tab on the one side when I pushed the reset the numbers popped out and the trip wouldn't work what happend is the axle popped out of the tab and the gear wasn't touching the number wheel. I had to take the cluster apart but it was an easy fix.

May be what happend on your cluster I dunno...

You will have to remove the cluster.
