on my friends Formula sometimes there is this weird ping knock sound and his electronics start going awry. He had a problem where his turn signals will stick, but it comes and goes he says. What would cause this problem?

Also he's burnt out a headlight a couple times recently..

The noise is comming from the Dash, around the vent in the center.

It's a 99 Forumla with a LS1.

When he turns the turn signal on sometiems it won't blink, it'll just stay on.

He said one time his electroncis went nutz and start turning themselves on and off randomly.. but it only happened once.
