Does anyone make an "automatic" fan switch?

I want to replace my thermostat with a 160 degree one.... for cooler operating temperatures. I've found several places that sell manual fan switches. I'd prefer for the computer to reset the fans to come on at a lower temp (instead of manually turning them on), but I don't want to spend $350-400 for a programmer....just for the fans.

So, anyone make a module that solves this problem? Or, where can I get my PCM reprogrammed?

BTW, I'm living in Hawaii.....so shipping IS a factor if I have to send off the PCM.

Thanks in advance for any info.

slp makes a plug and play fan switch or if you look on brent's site you can make your own for maybe 5 bucks.

I use a 170* non-adjustable switch I got dirt cheap from Jegs.
They have an adjustable unit for a couple bux more.
I didn't use a manual switch because they require alot more wiring and must be mounted in the cabin. Not to mention they cost alot more.
Folks also tend to forget to turn them on/off. Many dead battery posts come from this.
Mine required about 2' of wire run to and from the stock fan relay.
That's it. Along with the free thermostat mod and TB bypass, my car runs much cooler and KR/detonation is way down.
