Temp guage question

The temp guage in my 1995 M6 car doesn't seem to function. I just purcased the car 2 days ago. Can anyone lead me in the right direction as to the most common cause; sensor location on the block? Also looking for the "Low oil" sensor...Please bear with me; this is my first 4th gen and my first LT-1. Thanks everyone!

Re: Temp guage question

The temp gauge sensor is located on the front of the driver's side head. Here's a pic from Shoebox' site (great reference for stuff like this!)

The low oil sensor is located in the oil pan.
