tb bypass fix
tb bypass fix
im looking into a car that the previous owner performed the tb bypass on. im wondering if it is possible to reverse the mod back to stock, and what the procedure for that is.
Re: tb bypass fix
You could. There's no harm in leaving it there.
Just reconnect the collant lines for the TB..
I have a bunch of links in my stickey for free mods... or check out...

Re: tb bypass fix
Unless you plan to drive your car through the winter and expect extreme cold temps, I'd leave it
. Even at that, I don't think it would hurt much to drive in winter without it?

Re: tb bypass fix
We would need to know the year of your car, and which engine since the hoses are different for each year and engine type.
If its a 93-94 or 95-97 LT1. Shoebox has diagrams of the hoses for each of those:

Add a "signature" with basic info about your car, like year, engine, tranny and any major mods. That way people can give you a more accurate answer to your tech questions.
