t56 to a4 swap

can you splice in the connectors on a m6 harness or do you have to buy an A4 engine harness to do the swap. Every thread I read about LS1's say you need an A4 harness. Just trying to collect some info right now for future reference. Thanks

Are you asking about doing the swap on an LS1 or on your 95? Check on the Drivetrain program. The swap is discussed there frequently. You can flash the PCM with the M6 program, and can modify the connections on the wiring harness.

I was actually going to buy a 96 and swap my auto into it and was just curious on the procedure. I did a search and most of what I read refered me to the LS1 swap and I wanted to know if they were the about the same, needing pcm reflashed and an A4 harness.
Thanks for the information.
