One reverse light not working....?

my pasenger reverse light in not coming on, i have changed the bulbs, and nothting, so i did a voltmeter test and i there is no voltage. But the driverside light works fine... any ideas. I read up on the B/U light switch on the tranny, but would that cause just one to go bad or both?

You could have a bad socket connector. Probe the harness a little further down and see if you are getting voltage. If you are getting voltage at the actual wire but not at the connector, then you found the problem. Also make sure that the contacts are clean as well.

i checked down on the wires and still no voltage...... so i think it is more than a bad socket connector
