does anyone know if the Spectre Air filters are water proof?

 

What a strange question. If air can pass through, so can water. Is that what you need to know?

 

According to the cleaning instructions, they can be rinsed with water after being cleaned using the Spectre cleaning solution, so water will not damage the filter element, if that is your question. Looks like a gauze filter, similar to the K&N and several others.

 

well it seems like my air filter is ruined from the water. Bc now my cars not running like it should after I took it through the rain. Yea it's a strange question but if it was water proof then my car should be runnin right but now it's not
