Replacing steering column

Hey Gang,

I have alot of play in my old column, along with a broken turn signal cam and the steering wheel pivots up and down.. like something is worn out. Instead of trying to repair all of these things.. i was thinking of just swapping in a complete unit including steering wheel.

Is this a diffuclt job? ARe there any precautions i should take to make sure i dont mess up the airbag?

Anyone got a tight steering column for a manual 93 Z for sale?

Re: Replacing steering column

Removing the steering column is covered in the ignition switch replacement guide on my Tech Page. It's not too hard to do.
