door skin coming loose

what kind of adhesive would anyone recommend for a oem equivelant to reapply the door skin by the handle. Not sure if someone tried to break into my car, or was just a poor job of assembly. thanks for any help.

I've looked this up and I'm just taking mine to a body shop and making sure it's done right because everyone says that most if not all of the stuff you buy at the store doesn't work.

Why on earth would you remove the outer door skin to R&R a window motor? They are easy to replace from the inside panel! Follow Shoebox's guide and you will be done in less than 1 hour.

That sounds more like it. Any idea where one might procure this (an actual source and/or brand, for us non-engineer types. ). Thank you for any insight you might have. :nice:

check with a local painters supply and see if they have some type, there are many different brands, the 2 part is best, but the 1 part is fine, especially since the skin hasn't come all the way off(1 part/single stage has a slightly longer cure time)

Thank you very much for the links. I might need to hit the local paint supply shop for interior dye so I will ask there first (now I kinda know what I am lookin for, and that it ain't real cheap).

FWIW, in case it helps folks, I had tried a two part epoxy for plastics originally. Application was an issue (getting the epoxy into the crevice) but it was clean in there, etc and applied decently. It held for a couple weeks maybe, before letting go again (upper right hand corner of the door, adjacent the exterior door handle).

Thank you again for the info and links.
