Anyone know a web site or at least a detailed description on replacing a front fender on a 3rd Gen Camaro. I damaged the top of my driver side front fender on my 87 IROC. I figure it would be cheaper to replace it than to fix it. The estimate was over $1,000. I see fenders on the net for $55. Can any help me out?

 

I once removed the fenders from one of my old 3rd gen Camaros to rustproof them on the backsides. I dont recall any real "tricks". I just started removing bolts from above and below until it loosened up enough to remove it. I've also had the entire front clip off my current car and it really is simple.

I suggest you just get out your tools and go to work. Be carefull when reassembling it to not strip out any of the bolts. They dont need to be overtightened!
