Hello i have a third gen IROC and i dont have a door key and the dealer made one but that didnt work. Any trick to removing the lock cylinder. I have to take off the panel obviously but what after that.

It's pretty simple, there's just a little plate holding it in place... remove the plate and that should be it (atleast that's how it works in 2nd gens).
I cant remember for sure, it has been years since I R&R'd a 3rd gen door, but you might not even have to remove the inside door panel. The clip might be accessible from the the door's edge. Look just around the corner from the lock and see if the edge of the clip is accessible from outside in the jamb area of the door.
