however, now my right blinker flashes about twice as fast as my left blinker. the right blinker now flashes the same speed as the hazards do.
wtf???
is the other bulb on the other side on its way out now and thats what is causing my slow blinkers?

You might want to check the air pressure in the tires on either the left or right hand side of the car. If the car sits at a slight angle then the blinker fluid will too...and this will allow only one bleeder valve to see the appropriate amount of fluid...and therefore sending a slower signal to the faulty blinker.
btw have you bled the blinkers lately? always good to get all the air out of the lines..good oxygen free wire is always a plus there too...
lastly the timing may be off. if the engine timing is off then the blinkers tend to get confused...but you'll need a left handed screw driver to fix this...kinda hard to find...Sears might have one.
hope this helps some...later

Wow, and I thought some people were supposed to be knowledgable on this forum?
Listen man, they are obviously screwing with you. There is no such thing as blinker fluid and flux capacitors. THey are just immature idiots
But seriously, the reason why its not working is because when your car travels at high speeds (30+) your cars nose starts to lift off. This jolts the blinker and disrupts it (obviously). You need to go out and get a different spoiler. Preferrable, a big aluminum one, because they are the biggest, and aluminum is the lightest. This will give your car more down force, thus reducing the chance for the bulbs to become disrupted. I had this same problem (but both blinkers) so I had to get two spoilers. But now my car works fine. But i liked the look, so I threw on another couple of spoilers. My car has so much downforce, that I pull up manhole covers cruisin around town.

Did your turn signal really go out?
I ask because mine right one went out today and just stayed on without blinking.
I just finished changing it and it took about an hour and a half. I had to remove both headlight braces and take out the left plastic pan underneath the headlight to get the bulb out, among other things...
Man o' Man was that a son of a bitch just to change out a damn light bulb.

LOLOL....thanks guys for making my day just a little bit brighter (pun intended). It's good to see people still have a good sense of humor!
On a more serious note: Yes...bad bulbs/sockets can cause signal malfunctions.
