ran out of blinker fluid :(

for a long time my blinkers have both been slow, so i figured they were low on blinker fluid, but this morning my right blinker finally kicked the bucket and says lit.

where is this little blinker module and how much is it to replace? i might as well do both if they're cheap because they were both slow. what part# are they?

the left turn signal still flashes like normal, but the right turn signal stays lit and doesn't flash.

Too much blinker fluid on one side just fried your bulbs...

the hazards flash twice as fast as the blinkers, and the hazards still work fine.

a burnt out bulb will cause it to stick like that? i'll check that next time i go outside

The module you're talking about is called a flasher. I guess it supplies the blinker fluid.

dude that would suck. if the muffler bearing goes out it could also damage the kanuter valve. beleive me you dont want a stuck kanuter.

replaced the big bulb and its fixed, the socket looked really burned though but we're not sure if it was the dielectric greese or if it was actually scortched

however, now my right blinker flashes about twice as fast as my left blinker. the right blinker now flashes the same speed as the hazards do.

wtf???

is the other bulb on the other side on its way out now and thats what is causing my slow blinkers?

Napa sells a 52MM Hyperdrive Motivator Blinker Extender that generally solves that problem. Make sure your Ash Tray is also not ported, the additional air flow can often cause the Blinker Fluid By pass valve to shut down completely and cause catastrophic results.

i had the same problem. come to find out it was the flux capacitor that was restricting blinker fluid flow...

ps, don't forget to change the winter air in your tires to summer air for a 10 + hp gain at the rear
