Power Window Help -- Read Within
So my driver side power window decided to stop going down about two days ago when I got off work. This didn't bother me too much (besides that I don't have A/C) because atleast it was up, and summer rains couldn't really bother me.
So I called a couple people, and they pretty much came to the concensus that it was my window motor, so I went and bought a window motor and accessed ShoeBox's excellent write up on replacing it, and went about the work.
Everything went as smooth as it could go, I got the new window motor in, and the window decided to still not work. So.. I started to fickle with the switch.. and sure enough the switch started taking the window down, and then it'd stop. the little plastic piece on part of the switch wasn't touching it right, so it was a pain. Well it stopped going down, as well as going up. So I took apart the switch more (to the two white levers that go up/down) and I tried getting it to go back up this way, but to no avail, it would not have it.
So now I have a simple question -- I'm going to make an assumption (yes I know, ***-u-me) and correct me if I'm wrong. The window switch is a simple circuit, which with the different wires depends on what action it performs depending on which circuit is completed (which gives power to the motor in a certain direction). Does anyone know which wires I can finagle with which would atleast let me get my window back up? I don't care about jigger-rigging it to always go up and down, I just need my window up until I can get to the dealership to get a new switch.
It rains daily, and sometimes two and three times daily. I have to work a 9 hour shift, and I really don't feel like riding home tomorrow night on a towell with a wet bum. SO.. does anyone have any suggestions to atleast get me through the next couple days?

Here you go... thanks again to shoebox
Switches...

Wiring...

Looks like 12v to the dark blue wire should hook ya up. Use a jumper that is fused though just in case

EDIT: Unplug the switch first then put the 12v to the dark blue wire. If you don't unplug the switch it'll be grounded and when you put the 12v on it either blown fuse or smoke if no fuse

Just wante dto say thanx to shoebox for the write up, used it a couple nights ago and it helped me out at on. I woulda swiss cheesed my doors looking for the rivits without that pic!
On another note, his writeup shows the drivers side door, i was working on my passenger door and a lil confused about what was where. Then i got the brilliant idea to hold the paper upside down and shine the worklight through it and everything looked normal and matche dthe door perfect. Just a tip incase anyone runs into that issue. Im a lil slow i guess cause i was confused with teh pic being reversed.
