Driverside Power Window fell off track

In my 97 Camaro with Power Windows...

Toward the front of the window around where it meets the driverside mirror, my window fell downward enough to even expose water, the top is still all the way up but the forward window is letting tons of water in and you can see outside through the large crack.

When I take the door panel down, how do I go about fixxing this?

The guide broke. You'll need a new set of window tracks. Look back at my posts and you will see I have it well documented.

Here is a picture of the door guts. I'm betting that you broke guide #3. I also have a video on SHoebox's website showing the mechanism in motion. This is becoming a more common problem as our cars age.

Window track sets can be obtained on Ebay, the forum "for sale" section or any F-body salvage yard. I've seen them sell for as little as $30.00.

Awsome, I just have to ask are you 100% sure that guide 3 would be completely broke and I'd need a new one? I mean that doesn't look like the easiest thing to break...

I'm only guessing, but that is the most common one. Take the door panel off and inspect it all.
