Power seat not moving forward or back?

So the other day my power seat would move all the way back by itself, I would then have to re-adjust it to where it was comfortable. It did this maybe three of four times and then on the last one it went back by itself again and never worked since. I can still raise/lower and tilt the seat but I have no power forward/backward. The motor makes no noise when the control is played with.

Does anyone know what this could be? Burnt motor, bad switch, bad ground? I cannot get a really good look at the motors without taking the seat out and even that I have no clue how to do...

I have recently lost all power to my other seat motors and my rear hatch defrost grid. Could it be possible my circuit breaker is broken?

Might be, believe they're on the same circuit. Try putting a fuse in place of the breaker temporarily and see if it restores power.

They are on the same circut. Try removing the breaker and replacing it with a 30 amp fuse. This is a temp fix and should help you diagnose that the breaker went bad. Some of the read defrost grids go bad and pull too any amps causing the breaker to overheat and go bad. When i still had my power seats I Would only use one or the other not bot at the same time. After you replace the breaker wit a fuse you can drive like that for a while but i would go get a replacement breaker and reinstall it. It is there for a reason. Some people just left the fuse in but if the factory thought a fuse was good enough then ehty would have put the circut on a fuse not a breaker.

Ok so I tried pulling the circuit breaker today and it was HOT!!! I had to use needlenose pliers to get it out it was just too hot to touch. I pulled the power window breaker and put it in the seats/defrost one and it resotred all power but the seat still wanted to move back. I could move the seat forward then back but it would just magically move itself all the way back. In a matter of 4 minutes the new breaker was warm. Could this be a bad switch triggering the breaker to keep tripping?

I will try the fuse thing tomorrow. Off the top of their heads does anyone know how much a new 30a breaker is gonna cost me?

the breaker is not at fault its the motor or switch... a fuse will just blow near instantly

Sounds like a bad switch. If it is, you don't need to remove the seat to replace it. Just remove the plastic cover and you can get to the switch.
