Most people who relocate their battery to the trunk find that 0-gage wire is best.

yea,

yea I ran 2 gauge and it wasn't working the best but it worked. now I bought the summit premium reloction kit. It does come with the terminals on and seems very thick and a large improvement over what I had. I dont have a large load right now but when I get a system I will definately start with the alternator and work my way out from there. I've done the copper wire calculations and my current draw and the 1 gauge wire will be perfectly fine unles I start running a few amps off it. might heat up a bit. But if you look it up you can find the conductivity of wire at different lengths and what kinds of strnd configurations work etc. I think I might need a beefy distrobution block maybe 1 to 3 1 gauge to a slightly smaller gauge but I can't find them big enough damn...

Most licensed professional engineers with master degrees are familiar with electrical wiring design. But thanks for the advice.

Didn't all Camaros have the performance shift program as default? Or is it only the 1996 and newer Camaros that do?

94-95s had it in the computer, but is was not the default program.

I have a friend that works For GM thats helping do our LS1 Interior/Engine Wiring Swap into an 89 IROC, and I ran this idea across him. He told me that looking at the tables of when it would shift, The Firebird has a softer "luxury" kind of set up normally and that that switch sets it to what the camaro normally has? I'm confused

I don't know what to tell you, but the Camaro PCM has another set of values in the performance table that is even more aggressive.

I've never compared the normal or performance shift programs of the Camaro to the Firebird.

Is there a little write up other than the diagram on how to install a performance switch? Looking at the diagram, I'm unsure what exactly needs to be done?!? Can a toggle switch be used instead of a push button?

I thought "performance" mode was the default in Z28's...if you wire in the switch it will give you the "softer" mode in addition.....correct me if I'm wrong though.

No you get harder shifts when its on I did it on my 94z, and to be honest with you I never use it lol. I am not sure there is any benefit from having it on other than it jerks a lot harder when it shifts.

Trifecta has a write-up about the performance mode. You can use a switch with a toggle, but it must be a momentary switch (springs back).

It was not the same thing. The switch increased line pressure that destroyed a lot of people's older transmissions.
