I went to take the car out yesterday and went to start it and the thing just cranked and cranked and every now and then would fire over, after pedaling it it started, drove it down the street and at a stop it poped a few times and got a SES light, turned around went home and it poped some more, shut it down and started it again and had a little trouble starting, got it going and no SES light, drove it again and it would not make power past about 40mph. Gave it 3/4 throtttle and it did not make power like it should have but still reved up, poped a bunch then the power came in and turned the rear tires over. Today it did not want to start at all and the fuel pump sounded weaker than ussual. Would not start for a while and when it did it would idle really low and shut down. My dad got it to run at like 4k rpm but it was pretty rough. Went to hook up the fuel pressure tester but it takes a different sized fitting then what I got. Think it could be an opti or fuel pump? Part of me is saying opti but at first I was thinking fuel.
