Which oil would you recommend? Camaro 4th Z28 Oil

Hi everyone

I have 1997 Camaro Z28 5.7 V8. it is 98.000 miles.
Normally 5W-30
But it's 98.000 miles

Which oil would you recommend?

Is the engine stock or modified? Does is consume excessive oil? Does the engine make any strange mechanical sounds? Do you run conventional or synthetic oil?

I have always ran synthetic oil in my 2001 Z28 (Sara) with 59k original miles. I most recently went to a thicker 10W-40 high milage oil. I live in a very warm climate, where freezing temperatures during winter is not an issue
