no power to fuel pump solution!!!

have had a problem the past few days.. she starts she doesn't she starts she dosn't. i turned the key to the on posision could not hear the fuel pump power up like you always can on a gm. i traced the prblem down to the main ground wire underneath the drivers seat. the conector gets coroded over time of the wonderful t-tops leaking. since gm put the main ground on the lowest point of the car all the water collects and corods the ground connector. easy fix to a small problem. from what i hear many people have replaced fuel pumps because of this problem. so i thought id share my newly learned info with all of you incase you didn't already know that. and to save you all the head ache of replacing a fuel pump

Re: no power to fuel pump solution!!!

I'll have to check that out. I've got a weird fuel pump problem. It like a short somewhere in the wiring. I'll be driving and it will cut out on me, but if I shake the car, it'll come back on.
