Neutral Saftey Switch

Ok First of all i dont know if this is the correct area for this thread if not please move accordingly. I have just installed my Full manuel 4l60 and i have just finished mounting my new B&M hammer shifter. I have the two switchs mounted on the shifter one is for NSS and the other is for Reverse lights. I have searched on this site and everyone seems to have different color wires. Im looking at the 6 wire connector that unplugged from the stock shifter. there are 2 12gauge yellow wires, 1 smaller light green wire, 1 smaller brown wire, 1 smaller orange/black wire, and 1 smaller black/white wire. Are the 2 yellow wires the NSS wires, and im assuming the light green & brown wires are for the reverse lights. Can anyone please help me clarify this. I cant go any further until this is done

ok, i kinda of a noob when looking at schematics but by looking at this i take the lght green wire is for the backup lamps, and the yellow wire coming from the " E " port is the NSS wire. There are two terminals on each of the new switches. do you just ground them. So in other words the one switch will get the LGht green wire and a ground wire and the second switch will get the yello wire and a ground

When in park or neutral the yellow wires are connected together by the original switch. Anything other than park or neutral interrupts the circuit to the theft deterrent module to disallow starter engagement.

Light green is backup, just as indicated. 12v would have to be applied (like from the brown wire) to this wire for lights to work.

If your switches connect the two leads together when operated, then that would be right.
