Madman Rack Guys Question for you.

Did you guys weld the mounting tab to the front K-member. I got one the other day, I guess I was under the impression that this was a completely bolt on kit, but when it came, it came with a mounting tab that looks like it should be welded to the K. I called to be sure and thats what they're telling me.

Yes you need to weld the tab on to your k-member.

Re: Madman Rack Guys Question for you.

I think I can answer that. This rack will fit stock mounting locations, so any K member with stock mounting locations would work fine. The rack comes with an additional metal "tab" that is bolted directly to the steering box that needs to be welded. I'm pretty sure that any K-member you buy would require this additional tab be welded.
