Mach 1 vs B4C

i have a question. my buddy is thinking about buying a 03 mach 1 that is completely stock. i just wanted to be sure i can beat him in a drag. i have a 99 b4c with SS hood, SLP airlid, KN airfilter, SLP MAFS, and TSP rumbler exhaust. any opinions?



i also hava another question. has anybody ever heard of an australian made firebird with a LS6? i heard a rumor an dwasn't sure if it was true

Stock vs. Stock, the LS1 and the Mach 1 are pretty close to each other. Seeing that you already have some small mods done to your car already, I would give you the advantage.

Especially if the Mach 1 is an suto. They are noticeably slower than the manuals.

Most auto mustangs are slower than thier manual couterparts. I say it would be a close one but the stick should get it. I dont like auto 4v's. They arent built the same and the tuning I think is different (reffering to shift points etc.)

i agree. Hmm, I could do so much with a built 4V auto. It's making my mouth water.
