LS1 MAF on LT1?

Could you use a MAF from an LS1 on a LT1 motor? Just wondering. Mine is throwing a code, so I am gonna try and clean it, anybody know what to use? But if that doesn't work, I know a guy who has a LS1 MAF for sale, and I wanted to see if that would work or not.

Re: LS1 MAF on LT1?

You need to use one that is calibrated for your car/computer. That prettly much means you need one from an LT1.

If you clean it I'd recommend Q-tips and your cleaner of choice (something that will evaporate or dry fast may not be a bad idea). Just be careful not to snag the q-tips on the thin wires.
