Does anyone know how many of these cars were put into production t-tops not hard or convert... Also it is showing a little rust near the battery area should i keep this ls1 and sand blast is later of find another one that many not ahve any rust yet..

the rust is more than likely from a leaking battery at some point. Its very common and easily repaired. If the rest of the car is in good shape I'd say keep it.
