Loctite question

so...will it work on oilly threads??

they say to loctite the rocker arm studs...will it hold if they are oily?

obviously i'd try to get as much off as possible...but i'm sure some will remain.

just a random curiosity for the day

Re: Loctite question

Not sure, but carb cleaner spray works really good at removing oil.

Re: Loctite question

Use 'Brakleen'.. Gumout[carb cleaner] etc leaves a residue..
The Loctite really won't hold on oily threads..
